I decided to be a hairstylist many years ago when I was in high school. I have enjoyed a fulfilling and exciting career behind the chair, first as a stylist and now as a co owner of Charisma Hair Fashion.
Hair styling is always evolving. The looks and ideas change continuously coinciding with the fashion industry. I take pride in staying current and learning new techniques so that I can share this with my staff and clients.
I can honestly say that even after all these years, I still enjoy what I do. There is nothing more rewarding than being able to make someone feel happy and confident about him or herself. |

I have been in love with hair since I took my first cosmetology class in grade 10. Since then my love for hair has grown into an amazing career. In July 2008, years of hard work and passion for what I do turned into the opening of Charisma. We were excited to create a beautiful yet warm atmosphere where our staff could be inspired and clients could come and feel good. I truely believe that we have accomplished that. I am blessed to have wonderful people who are a pleasure to work with, clients who I've come to know and become close to over the years, and the opportunity to create beauty everyday. I have been in this industry for almost 15 years now and whether I am dressing hair up for a special event, creating a low maintenance style or doing a complete make over I am dedicated to making my clients look and feel great! |

I was 12 years old when i did my first haircut. I convinced my mother to let me trim her hair with the kitchen scissors. I would not recommend this. it was not the best looking haircut i have seen or done, but it encouraged me to do better and my interest in the beauty industry grew from there. I became more involved with fashion and hair through high school cosmetology courses and hair became my passion. I excelled in every unit and wanted more experience so i started working at a salon were i went on to complete my apprenticeship hours and receive my journeyman's certificate. I have now been styling hair for 9yrs and have continued my education through various classes and shows. I took a year off as a new mom and am now pumped to be back and be a part of the Charisma team! |

I have been in this industry for 18 years starting at 15 years old as an assistant. I think I was destined for this industry though, based on the fact that my favorite thing to do as a child was accompany my grandmother to the salon and play with the fabulous 'toys' there. Charisma has truly fed my passion for hair with their ongoing involvement in the fashion industry. From hair shows in Las Vegas to backstage at the runway shows, my creativity has really flourished. My latest endeavors working with Alterna at the Edmonton ABA hair show both backstage and onstage with their global creative director has expanded my education to a new, exciting level! Naturally my first love is taking excellent care of my clients and making sure every one of them looks great and feels good about themselves. |

I started working at Charisma in October 2008. I enjoy working in such a beautiful salon that caters to clients on a very personal level. Helping clients find their inner fabulous self is what I love to do and have fun doing. I have been in the hair industry for 17 years. As a stylist, I take a very honest and forthright approach in consultations with my clients. I educate my clients with the information they need regarding the looks they leave the salon with. Having the proper haircut, colour, tools and home care products to recreate your look at home means having a look you want and love. I tend to create realistic and up-to-date looks for my clients. As a working mom, I understand the need for something low maintenance, yet stylish, and fun, yet do-able, in as little time as possible. Talk to me and I will listen. Together, we will find what works for you. I will be returning to the salon, from maternity leave, in November 2011, where I look forward to reconnecting with my clients. |

It seems as though I have done hair my whole life, from the not so good kitchen haircuts on my poor family at age 12 to owning my own salon at one point. I love everything this industry has to offer, all the different avenues you can explore. I love that I am constantly challenged and have the opportunities to learn new and exciting things, anyone who knows me knows how much I like change! If I had to pick my 3 favorite things to do it would probably be multifaceted naturally blended long hair, short and edgy razor cuts and runway hair for fashion shows or photoshoots.... but that could all change with the next new thing!! |

Ever since I was little I have wanted to do hair. I studied at Paul Mitchell school. I am new to Charisma Hair Fashion, it has been great salon to start out my career at because it has a positive atmosphere and ongoing education to keep our stylists up to date on the latest hair fashion. As a stylist I like to educate my clients on the on proper hair care products and how they can recreate they style they had done at the salon on themselves with the proper tools and techniques. While I was in school the students were called future professional day makers, the best feeling is knowing that I have made someone's day when they come to the salon and get their hair done. |

My ability to do hair started at a young age. While most young girls were having their mothers put french braids or side ponies in their hair. I was putting my moms hair in updos for events and parties. So it was a given that I would enter into cosmetology in high school. I wasn't sure at the time if that would be my path in life. But it all started at a salon in the eleventh grade when I was asked to help over Christmas. They liked me and offered me a permanent job and I have had door after door open for me ever since and never looked back. I have been able to go to a couple shows in Europe, a week long creative cutting course at Vidal Sassoon in Toronto and also took the amazing Great Lengths course to receive my certification for extensions. I have been doing hair for almost 10 years now, and seeing the look on people's faces when you have made them feel beautiful never gets old to me. I love what I do, I love my clients, and enjoy meeting new ones all the time. |
